Motivated by a love for nature and a desire to reduce waste, she initiated Tokyo-based project PLASTICITY,
introducing Glass Rain, a material made from repurposed umbrellas.
Through collaboration with Mondo Design Co., Ltd., the project-turned-brand continues to offer functional bags for everyday use.
Aki continues to explore upcycling through art and design.

2019年、廃棄された「ビニール傘」をバッグにアップサイクルする「10年後になくなるべきブランド PLASTICITY」を始める。バッグの主素材として「GLASS RAIN」生地を考案。2020年、株式会社モンドデザインの協力のもと、PLASTICITYが正式にブランドとしてデビュー。GLASS RAINを中心とする作品の制作や企業とのタイアップなどの制作活動を続ける。
